The Stair Concept and Development Submission
Stair 1: Mountain and Moon
Deriving inspiration from Mountain and Moon, the stair presents itself as an architectural continuation of the companies core design principles. Flowing from studio to display space, the stairs viewing platform is suspended in a fashion that's evocative to earring and necklace design. The stairs, although unconventional, allow the audience the observe the space in a more engaging manner, with light reiterating the unique nature of both the stair and thus the jewelry by Mountain and Moon.
Stair 2: Khyzyl Saleem
Designed for automobile customization and art production, the space, championed by low profile stairs and a ramp, adequately facilitates the needs of Khyzyls . Functionally focused, the inclusion of the ramp is a prerequisite for merging his studio with the display space, whilst the adjacent stairs provide an alternative method of movement. The use of materials such as concrete, marble, and steel reiterates the nature of the Khyzyl's work as being industrially focused, hence a strong relationship between the stair and its client.
